We've also been discussing how to say "research." Is it reee-search or ruh-search? Is that a Southern thing, or does it depend on what part of speech you are using?

Sadly, Connor says die- rections instead of directions. He's such a redneck!

Dictionary.com lists about 5
different pronunciations for research, so everyone's got a claim.

Miss M actually says thee-ay-ter for theater. I have no earthly idea where she picked that up.

Have you been watching Hee Haw? Because I do not personally know anyone who says Teevee. I also say umBRELla.
